best headphones/headset to cancel out background noise?

I will be WFH soon and one of my concerns is my noisy apartment building. They have been doing a lot of updates on the building lately, and though we are hoping to move in a year or 2, I need to be able to WFH until then and that requires me talking to clients on the phone regularly.

Are there headphones/headsets that can help minimize my background noise to clients so they don't hear the construction around me?
