I am planning to visit Europe for this summer (Late May - early August), and am worried that customs will be suspicious of how I will support myself - assuming they ask how long I'll be staying.

Can I just tell them that I'm a software engineer and that I work remotely? I don't have enough in my bank account to show that I can support myself without working (I just booked airbnbs and flights).
