Cost of accommodation in Vienna is surprisingly cheap?

Was shocked to see this to be honest, been looking at a variety of “cheaper” places such as Portugal, Montenegro, Turkey, Albania, Croatia etc and somehow the accommodation even on Airbnb is about €500 a month for a studio apartment in Vienna.

Take Lisbon for example, I’d be lucky to get a single room for that price.

So anyway, how is Vienna to work from? I’ve been there for a few days and didn’t find there was an awful lot …
