On paper, I Iook like a decent candidate. I have interned at two prestigious companies in entertainment, and have tons of experience elsewhere. But after a former supervisor refused to give me a reference for a full-time job I'm applying for, I realized my performance at one of these prestigious companies was less than stellar.

After an extended period of reflection, I realized my professional shortcomings. I am bad at multitasking, forget meetings, and when rushed I work rather sloppily.

So my request for advice is, how do you stay …
