Risks of contractor “at-will” type

Sup folks,
I have received an offer to work remotely for a US Cali company, contractor type with “at-will” 4 weeks notice.
Do you guys believe it is risky or I should reconsider? Taking into account that I am not a US citizen and will be working from South America.
