What's the point of coworking spaces?

They become more and more common in a lot of mainstream destinations and people here in this subreddit go on and on about their availability.

But why do people actually go there? I am struggeling to imagine scenarios in which people actually need to use them. I am genuiely curious.


One of the reasons I can think of:

\- better ergonomics

\- quiet, professional rooms for video calls


But is that all?
